Jonas Muller

Jonas holds a PhD in biology and has 25 years of experience in plant ecology and seed conversation research and implementation. He has worked across the world, leading a global plant conservation network and advising botanic gardens and seed banks. Jonas has led the Millennium Seed Bank at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, bridging scientific research, horticulture, public outreach, and science-based conservation. Currently, he is an Honorary Research Associate at Kew and continues to plan and lead scientific projects with partners worldwide. Jonas is the founder and director of Paisaia European Landscape Foundation, a charitable organisation that aims to preserve traditional cultural landscapes in Europe.
