Mike Hudson
Interim Director of Conservation Knowledge
Mike has been involved with Durrell for over 10 years in roles including Science Intern, PhD Student, Conservation Scientist and most recently, Conservation Science Manager. In his most recent role, Mike oversaw the science across Durrell’s field sites and global programmes. Mike has led Durrell field programmes in the Caribbean and UK, helped to create the Durrell Index, worked on international conservation initiatives such as the IUCN Green Status of Species and held roles at the Institute of Zoology, Zoological Society of London.
Mike has a PhD form the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology, University of Kent (Biodiversity Management), an MSc from Imperial College London (Conservation Science) and a BSc from the University of Bath.
