Robert Kirkby 

Chair

Robert is a Chartered Accountant by training. He has a range of experience, obtained with the ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms in the UK, New Zealand and Jersey, assisting businesses with matters including strategy, transactions, regulation and liquidations. Robert was previously a partner at KPMG Channel Islands where he led the Jersey Advisory team for ten years.

Robert has an independent consulting business and is a non-executive director. He originally qualified with a degree in Biochemistry from Pembroke College, Cambridge and despite moving into the world of finance has retained a passionate interest in conservation and the biodiversity of our planet.
